It would appear that they're working on a synchronized slip 'n slide routine.

slipnslide + lawn = disaster
I have not yet introduced my child to a slip n slide. I admit it is due in part to my own nefarious adventures with one involving pudding. Long story. But this, this looks fun!
Slip and slides are awesome!
Once when I was a little kid our entire town (which was around 100 people and maybe 15 of them were kids) made a giant slip and slide out of a huge 100 foot tarp. We took two hoses from two houses and put them at each corner of the top of the tarp, laid it on a huge hill, and then lathered it with about four bottles of all our mother's dish soap.
There were dozens of injuries resulting, but it was AWESOME.
Jen- You've just made me want to find a big hill, a tarp, some class A foam and my fire engine....I'll be sure to post pics if I can pull it off.
Oh looks so much fun to do.. ofcourse poor lawn but the fun quotient beats it :-D
Oh geez, your lawn, Lol. Slip and slides are fun but the disaster they leave behind is a headache. :-) Looks like they had fun though so that counts!

I just hate doing that to my lawn! I didn't do a slip and slide this year. We stuck to putting the sprinkler under the trampoline. It makes a big enough mess of the yard already.

My lawn has finally recovered! Time to take out the slip n slide again. :)
